I recently took a trip to Hendersonville North Carolina (within a two hour drive of Greenville South Carolina) for some outdoor activities including hiking and photography. I am definitely not an accomplished photographer -- If I take any great shots, I give all credit to my camera. I simply point.....aim.....and.....click.:-)
There are some wonderful campgrounds and hiking trails surrounding Hendersonville to enjoy. The above photo was taken off one of these trails just a few miles outside of town. Hendersonville's downtown has a wonderful small town feel with lots of local shops and restaurants to visit and explore. A trip to Hendersonville can make for a great weekend getaway! Jonathan

Here is a beautiful and pristine waterfall located just off North Barton Road and Hwy 101 in Greenville County. The stream continues to drop off another 50-75 feet after this waterfall producing other scenic falls. Many of these local waterfalls go unnoticed by the public. I would have never known of this one's existence had I not visited a property listing just across the road.

Here is a nice photo of Lake Jocassee that I took back in the summer on my way to Cashiers North Carolina. There is a pull off on the side of the road with wonderful views of Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. Upstate South Carolina truly has some amazing scenic sites and views! Jonathan

Well folks I do have two great pieces of good news to report for the Greenville South Carolina Real Estate Markets:
One, the showing activity, number of offers, and general real estate activity is definitely up for the Open House Realty offices thus far for the fourth quarter. We will not have November's total results and numbers for a few days but most Realtors I have spoken with are having a good fourth quarter and expect the momentum to carry into 2008.
Again Greenville Real Estate has bucked the nation trend and is having a fairly strong 2007 year in terms of sales and home appreciation. 2008 could definitely pick up also generally speaking with the mortgage ballouts…

I have loaded a new Greenville MLS IDX search for all the homes in the Greater Greenville MLS . There is also a new Greenville Custom Home Search , a subdivision search, an MLS Number Search, a Google Map Search of Greenville Homes, a Greenville Condo Search, and a Waterfront Search.
A simple registration is required on the Greenville Custom IDX Home Search, but once you register you may bookmark the page and use it again and again.
Feel free to email or phone me with any questions, requested showing information, or any comments. Thanks and I hope to hear from you!

The Treasury Department is hoping to prevent another wave of foreclosures that could come as may of these adjustable rate mortgages reset in the near future.
Representatives, law makers, and industry regulators are still working on just which home owners will qualify. Their efforts are aimed at stopping the housing slump that could eventually drag the US economy down with it. Hopefully the bailout will be…
