Did you know that the median home price for 2006 in the Greater Greenville South Carolina area was only roughly 142,000 dollars! Does this mean we have small and cheaply built homes here? Absolutely not! These numbers reflect that the the average price of a home here is roughly 7-10% below the national average. In other words, a home purchaser here gets more bang for the buck than in many other places in the country. In fact many of my out-of-state home buyers are literally shocked at the size, quality, and affordability of housing here. Posted by Jonathan, 02/16/07.
