May Home Sales Nationally beat Expectations
Nationally Existing Home Sales have edged up 2% for the month of May 2008. The National Inventory of Homes shrank 1.8 percent to roughly a 10.8 month supply of homes. The National Median Home Price continued to decline by 6% for the month of May.
However, the Greenville SC Real Estate Market has experienced a 4% rise in Median Home Prices thus far this year! This continues to prove real estate fluctuates locally and each local market is driven by different forces. The number of total homes sold this year is off in comparison to last year but prices continue to rise here in
Greenville South Carolina.
