The focal point of Falls Park is the Reedy River that cascades through the park on towards Cleveland Park, another one of Greenville's great downtown parks. Falls Park and Cleveland Park also connect to Greenville's Swamp Rabbit Trail which heads north by Furman University's campus and then on into Travelers Rest SC.

There are two restaurants looking out on Falls Park that are available to visitors: Mary's Restaurant (864-298-005) and The Overlook Grill (864-271-9700). Numerous additional restaurants and cafes are located within walking distance to Falls Park. In fact, downtown Greenville is rumured to have over 100 restaurants in its downtown area!
